Krista spent her 3rd birthday in The Netherlands. She wanted to go back for her 8th birthday, but we were not able to schedule that trip. So this year, we've scheduled a visit for her 10th birthday. We plan to show her where her Dad was born, went to Kindergarten and elementary school, and had a great time as a kid.

We left early on August 19th, from San Francisco. Our first stop was Washington D.C. where Berlynn's cousin, Debbie was to meet us for our short layover before our flight to Amsterdam. Our stop was much shorter than planned since our flight left San Francisco 90 minutes late. When we got off the plane in Washington, Debbie and her girls were there! |

But Debbie had a bigger surprise for Berlynn, she brought the entire family! Including Mom and Dad and little Brother. |

Before we knew it we were in the Dutch countryside. We rented a cute little car and were driving along amidst the cows, sheep and windmills. |
