Happy Fourth! How we spent Independence DayHappy Fourth

July 4th was in San Carlos this year. We tried to do real American type stuff in order to celebrate Independence Day!
Can I finish reading my mail? Can I finish updating my web page?
Here are the kids getting ready to go out!
Can we finish doing her hair? Should you turn right at this corner?
For entertainment, American things are bowling or the movies- the movies won out - good thing, I don't look good in two toned shoes! The new movie Cats and Dogs. was released today! (Click here for the review!) You can see that we weren't the only ones with this idea! Well, I'll be a son of my mother!
Of course you can hold my hand in the scary part! Sure hope this movie is worth it!
15 tacos, 8 burritos, 10 chalupas, and a large Pepsi! Where's my taco?
Next - what's more American than lunch at Taco Bell! Aaaaah, American food! Chulupas, nachos, and double decker tacos!
No, we like them a little more well done! Is dinner ready yet?
A barbecue on the balcony - now we're talking! Of course, what is more American than watching TV?
Coca Cola, Heinz Ketchup, Smirnoff yep all the icons are there! Happy Fourth everybody!
Dinner is finally ready - we just need the American Fries! Happy Fourth of July from the whole family!

Ooooh you blasted my Donkey Kong! Where? I didn't see it!
While we were waiting for it to get dark, Bram and Sarah played the latest Nintendo games! When it was dark enough, we lined along the balcony to look for the firework displays...
ooooooooooohhhh! Yeah - I guess that one is ok...
Here are some pretty ones from the fireworks in Redwood City! We also saw the ones from Foster City, Bay Meadows and Shoreline Amphitheater! After a while all the fireworks look the same and you may as well watch them from your bedroom...
Moon rise Of course Mother Nature has the last say as the moon rise through the clouds made a special light show all itself! Happy Fourth of July everybody!
