Christmas at the Lodge

Since we went to Henderson for Thanksgiving - Henderson wanted to come up to the Lodge for Christmas.  So, the regulars were going to be seven girls, and four adults.  Sleeping arrangements included turning Sarah's room into a "dorm", and parking the trailer on the driveway.  But everyone was comfortable - though morning showers require a lot of coordination!  But there is nothing like a house full of kids to make Christmas a lot of fun.

The Lodge was almost ready for company - a few light bulbs to check, a decoration or two to put up, and soon our Nevada cousins will be here! Julia gave the Santas on the patio one last tweak.
Remember when the cousins get together, funny things start happening - here they're trying to make the "fish face", but someone is laughing too hard. No - this is close - but you don't have that fish pucker yet!
Oh now we're close - so VERY close! That's it - the cousin's fish pucker face!.
A trip to the llama ranch to look at their lips! After Rich and Jeanne arrived, we unwrapped a few of the presents that were under the tree.
Every one loves unwrapping a couple of presents.  It doesn't matter how old you are - opening presents is fun!.
Some presents are meant to be shared! We always make room around the table for everyone!
Lindsay, Leah and Julia entertained everyone with a selection of Christmas carols.  (Carols by the Carrolls!) The next morning, it is nice to warm up by the fire in the cold house.  There will be more adventures tomorrow!
