The Snow Comes to US!

Some days we're lucky enough to get a winter snow storm. The middle of February is usually a good bet. So as we headed down the driveway Friday night, the car skidded a bit, but safely came to a stop on top of 6 inches of fresh snow. A winter storm, with enough snow to come down to our elevation of 2,800 feet covered everything in a blanket of the white stuff - much to the kid's delight. We enjoy the snow as well, it means that we can stay inside where it is warm and dry while the girls enjoy sliding down the driveway. After an hour or so of playing in the snow, they are ready to come in for hot chocolate and dry clothes. Sure, going to Pinecrest is fun, but staying home and letting the snow come to us is even better.
