Independence Day Barbecue!

	It's the 4th of July, Independence Day, and tradition says you have to have a barbecue to celebrate!
	You can't have a barbecue without family, so we invited Rich and Jeanne, Mom and Dad and Alex and Jeannette, their granddaughter, Mathilda, is visiting from Paris, so she was a welcome guest as well! Here's Rich in the kitchen working out how to cut the fruit for the punch with a rapt audience.
	Rich and Rebecca worked out how to divide the punch recipe for maximum effect and yumminess!
	After dinner, we went outside to light some fireworks. Mathilda didn't know that they were illegal! She was watching for the Sheriff!
	We got the kind that stay low on the ground, but they sparkled and smoked and were a lot of fun.
	Sarah became quite expert at picking the good ones from our supply!
	Rich and Jeanne were content to watch...
	...until we handed them a sparkler, at which point they set to work having fun!
	Mathilda and Rebecca had a good time with sparklers too, Mathilde especially enjoyed doing something illegal!
	Berlynn and Sarah got silly - was it the punch, or all that smoke?
	Everyone had a good time, and the girls enjoyed Mathilda's company, and I think she enjoyed theirs!
