More digging, more dirt and water!

The next morning the channel for the waterfall was finished and the largest rocks were set in place.

Then it was time for the pond liner to be unfolded and placed into the hole.

All the books say that the way to fill a new pond is from the inside!

After a couple of hours of filling, the well wasn't dry but the pond was wet.
The pump went into the bottom of the pond and the piping is run to the top of the waterfall.
Using the bucket to bring the rocks to the waterfall is a lot easier than carrying them down the hill!
Some of the rocks were delivered by an excavator operator in training!
At the end of the weekend, there was water coming down the waterfall and the hardest part of the construction was done.

We'll add more pictures as we plant and add fish.

(Note to Wilbert; it's still a bucket, but a pretty big one.)
