Christmas in Tuolumne

Things started off quietly for us on Christmas Eve with a beautiful moonrise over Mt. Duckwall while the sun was setting.

We went to Spike's Oma's house for Christmas Eve dinner, and he being the youngest, got to open his present first!

Everyone enjoyed what they received, Oma really liked the self portrait that Spike gave her.

Christmas Day it was time to sweep the leaves off the front steps. Yes, for those of you in colder climates, I am wearing a tank top, it was nearly 70 degrees outside and I was working hard!
Berlynn had to check to see if the kids were coming yet - they're on their way!
After a wonderful prime rib dinner, we unwrapped presents. Once again, everyone was happy!
Of course while we were cleaning up the kitchen, there was time for some clowning around! Sarah is trying to pour wine into Mom's coffee!
Rebecca and Jesse wanted a serious picture, we can do those too!
Here is the cleanup crew, Bert, Berlynn, Sarah and Rebecca!
Since the day after Christmas was a Sunday, it was kind of a bonus day, we took a short drive to Murphys.
We had lunch in one of our favorite restaurants, Grounds. Visited the Ironstone Winery and everyone took naps in the car on the way back. Another perfect day!
