The Perfect Christmas

	There are lots of perfect Christmas Days, some folks start by putting another log on the fire, some begin by shoveling the snow from their walks, others pile another blanket on the bed and sleep in. We start the perfect Christmas with a swim in the pool under the palm trees!
	Then we headed over to Rod and Diane Hassett's home in La Quinta for Christmas brunch. Their son Kevin Henry, bought us the greatest sunglasses as Christmas presents.
	We watched as Rod and Diane unwrapped their new bird feeder stuffed with Hickory Farms goodies!
	Then we all sang Christmas Carols while Kevin accompanied on the keyboard. Using a speaker phone, we sang the Twelve Days of Christmas with Kevin's brother Dan in Connecticut on the other end.
	Of course there is always some time for relaxing by the fire on a perfect Christmas Day!
	A fun evening was had as Kevin and his "dancers" sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer to everyone's delight.
	A wonderful dinner ended with Dawnene's request from her Dad to read Clement Moore's "The Night Before Christmas" in the same way he did when they were children. We were all as rapt as she and Karen were listing to him end our perfect day.
