Palm Springs New Year

	It seems like we always spot something on our drives to Southern California, this time was no exception as we were heading for Palm Springs for New Year's. This balloon was floating in for a landing as we were coming up to La Quinta on Interstate 10.
	The GPS brought us straight to Kevin's house and we parked out front. Home Sweet Home!
	Like most of the homes in this area, the living is done at the back of the house. This one is on a golf course tucked right against the mountains.
	Kevin couldn't resist demonstrating how comfortable our bed was...
	...and Berlynn had to check out the bathroom. Nice! (the bathroom was ok too...)
	Then time for a quick tour in the golf carts, Efren drove while Berlynn watched.
	This is the view towards the club house and tennis courts from one of the greens, or was it a tea? I don't know, it was all green to me.
	After the ride in the cool air, Berlynn warmed up by the fire.
	I think I may have checked the local paper or a weather forecast, I'm not sure what I was doing here.
	I know that when I get up in the morning, I like coffee. No cream, just black - thanks honey!
