Summer Short Takes

Just because there haven't been any updates, doesn't mean that we haven't done anything. For those of you that know, part of the problem has been a broken leg - which literally prevented web site updates. So, finally, here are some images of our summer.

Summer sort of started when we went down to the Bay Area to see Sara graduate from Canada College. Proud sis Rebecca is on the left, while happy Mom - well, you know happy Mom! (We tried putting the tilde in Canada because it is Canyada (Spanish) not Canada (the country) but IE upchucked on the symbol, see Cañada.)

Stephanie needed a haircut and she was on a budget. So, we volunteered our electric clippers and clippered her head! We think it looks cute on her and they look cute together!
The girls and I rented a little motorboat and Pinecrest Lake one afternoon and cooled off with a lakeside picnic and a swim.
We drove down to San Diego at the end of August to see Bobby and Geoffrey in Thoroughly Modern Millie! It was a great show and we are looking forward to doing Millie in Sonora.
Laura drove over from downtown San Diego to join us after the show. Berlynn, Laura, Krista, Geoffrey and Stephanie posed for a shot before made our long drive home the next morning!
Then it was time to say goodbye to Danny and Jake - we may be smiling on the outside, but we sure miss those boys.
But, time goes on - this time Berlynn threw a baby shower for Julie.
And Krista got a new car. Well, new for her anyway.
Coming home from grocery shopping we got stuck behind our new neighbor's new house...
Another goodbye, this time for Lulu - we miss her too.
A last trip to Pinecrest Lake for the year, they drain it every Fall to get ready for the winter snow. There's no problem getting a picnic table for lunch for two at this time of the year!
Stella likes the lake, she can't wait to come back in the Spring!

We promise that now that the stairs are manageable again it will be sooner than Spring for the next update!
