Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day came with nice, comfortable temperatures in the mid-sixties. Who cares what the weather is, it's time to unwrap presents!
Spike had to check out the Poinsettia that was poking out of Krista's stocking.
Rebecca liked the scarf that Krista knitted.
Krista decided to wear her flower as a head band and started unwrapping the rest of her presents, including a new wallet from Grandpa Rich.
Berlynn received treats for her dogs, and a certificate for new boots. (More treats for her dogs!)
Then it was time to set the table and take showers before the rest of the gang showed up. When they did, we went right back to unwrapping presents. Jeanne received a nice bottle of wine! (Which BTW, did not survive the day.)
Berlynn opened a box with a nice new sweater/coat.
She's styling!
Then we all sat down to dinner. Smoked turkey and pulled pork. We called it a turpig dinner. (That sounds better than a pigkey)
Of course what's dinner without clowning around and making faces? We have a history of having fun!
After dinner, Rich entertained us with a story.
Then we tried Jeannette's chocolate fondue.
The fun didn't stop as we played a round of Balderdash.
Finally towards the end of the evening, Stella was the first to collapse with visions of sugarplums.
Spike went to sleep on Alex's shoulder, no doubt dreaming of chasing large turkey legs. Thanks everyone, for making this the best Christmas ever!
