New York, New York

A conference in Manhattan for me was an opportunity for Berlynn to come along.  Right after we arrived, we dropped our bags at the hotel on Times Square and went out front to buy half price tickets to a Broadway show!
We got great seats to see Hair Spray at the Neil Simon theater starring George Wendt as Edna Turnblatt. What a great show.
The cosmopolitan lady is having a cosmo.
It's fun staying right on Times Square, we walk out of out hotel lobby and we're in the midst of the action.
Here's our room on the 46th floor. It's small but looks really cool.
Here's the view out the window, match the picture up to the one above.
Sunday sightseeing took us to the Apple store. Here's the view of the Plaza Hotel from the store's lobby.
Berlynn bought a bag of roasted chestnuts from a street vendor and pet one of the carriage horses.
We went to Rockefeller Center where they were setting up for Election Day coverage.
From the top of the Rock, you can see the Hudson River, the George Washington Bridge and Central Park.
We also toured Radio City Music Hall where Berlynn got to meet one of the Rockettes.
It was fun to be in the city on Election Night. Here's the crowd in Times Square watching the results on the big screens from our room on the 46th floor.
On the way home we made time for the Van Gogh exhibit at MOMA. A quick but fun visit!
