Happy 2009 everyone!

	It's hard to figure out what to do every day when you wake up to blue skies every morning and snow far enough away to admire and not deal with...
	The thermometer is registering a pleasant 87 degrees outside.
	In the evenings, we can see the light from the upper tramway station on top of the mountain.
	Meanwhile, while we're waiting for our guests to arrive, Stella has the best idea with a little catnap, ehr, dognap on her pillow.
	Our friends Lew and Bill have a condo on Mesquite Country Club here in Palm Springs. It's nice to sit on their patio, catch up and drink a Bloody Mary.
	On the last day of 2008 it's nice to hang around at home. Arthur was on the phone trying to make his mom jealous with descriptions of weather, temperature readings and tomorrow's forecast...
	Branden and Rebecca were discussing the economic outlook for 2009...
	Stella was catching her usual forty winks...
	...and Berlynn enjoyed having her family around on the last day of 2008.
