Our adventure in Reno

We wanted to see Menopause the Musical at the El Dorado Hotel in Reno, and our friend Jimmy (Tevye) wanted to see his wife, Dee Etta and mother-in-law, Midgie. So since Dee Etta was in Menopause, and Midgie was with her, we borrowed the van from Rich, gassed up at the Fuel Depot and left Monday at lunch time for Reno.
Highway 88 across the pass is beautiful, the road was dry, there was a lot of snow, none of it bothered us.
There were some threatening clouds, but they remained threatening and never amounted to anything.
Berlynn, Jimmy and Becky stayed outside long enough for a photo during our stop at Kirkwood Ski Resort for a short break - it's cold up here in the mountains.
Soon we were at the El Dorado Hotel in a VERY nice room (Thank you Poppa!), right in downtown Reno.
We went to dinner and celebrated Midgy's 89th birthday. Mazeltov, from Midgie and Jimmy!
At first Midgie wasn't sure what to do about so many candles on her cake!
But she had no trouble blowing them out!

Here's hoping all your wishes come true Midgie.

The other cast members of Menopause were also at dinner, here's Kathy with Jimmy and Midgie.
Skye, Alex and Donald (Donald is not a part of the cast, since it's four women, he is the Stage Manager!) were there.
One of the big reasons for the trip. So that Jimmy could spend time with Dee Etta, who he hadn't seen since January!
Of course we were there making sure the Bloody Marys's were ok!
Dee Etta and Becky looked over the menu - it was all good!
Meanwhile, the next night back at the El Dorado, we were ready to be entertained!
Just waiting for Jimmy and Midgie to join us!
And then, just as quick - it was time to go home!
